2012 ARGO 650 HD AMPHIBIOUS ATV in Beekmantown, New York

Almost nothing stops this 6 wheel drive 4 person recreational vehicle, including a body of water. It not only floats, but due to special tread design, it moves itself across the water at 3.5 mph. It is powered by the Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine which features 4 cycle overhead valve V-twin. It has a full electronic ignition with a recoil back-up starter. Other amphibious ATVs use levers for steering, but this uses a normal ATV handlebar. The transmission has high and low gearing in forward and reverse, and is fully automatic. Optional equipment includes a full skid plate, Optima sealed battery, full size spare tire and wheel, full custom outdoor cover, electric bilge pump, tie down kit, front and rear tow hooks, and an outboard motor bracket which can support a motor up to 9.9 hp. Also included are the owner/service manual and an instructional DVD. Approximately 20 months remain on the warranty. Many add-on options are available from the manufacturer, including Caterpillar treads for deep snow. Although one model year behind, it is brand new with only 7 miles on the odometer. It was a gift, but I am retired and too old to really enjoy it. It is currently licensed in NY State as an ATV and a boat.
